Got a lil crazy with Amex...

Was approved for Delta Sky at 7600.

Applied for Blue Cash an hour or so later and got an In Progress.  Check back in 24 hours.

Is this a denial?

You should have waited until the Delta card arrived and then converted to Blue Cash!

you might be okay, when i got my last amex card. I had received a pre approval for the gold rewards plus.  I got the same meessage, after about 3 days I showed approved.

but I would have waited and converted. but it's all good, if you are declined you can convert later.

No it's not a denial. I got that same message when I applied for the Clear.

I did the same thing and got denied but got card ( Delta Sky ) and called and got it changed to Blue Cash
