Here's my question, I've had a Corp Amex card for the past 9 years, it's still active but has never shown on any of my CRs, will AMEX backdate my new Gold Card to reflect I've been a member since 2003 and report that info to all 3 CRAs?
Thanks.
I was approved for an AMEX Zync card in November of 2011, which was my first personal AMEX card. I have also had an AMEX corporate card since '95, and I called in some time after I received my Zync to ask them to set my Member Since date to match my corporate card member since date. They were able to do this with no issues.
Hopefully it will work out for you, but as always YMMV.
Haven't received my card yet but logged in to Amex website today and saw they linked this account to my corp card.

Whoo hoo! Very nice backdating story. Good work! Time to add more personal amexes?!
I think there is misconceptions in this tHread. Your member year should be when you first held aN Amex either as acm/au or primary. This may not happen on its own but that is policy as of 11/2011. Corporate card holders may have issues. I think depends on what kind of corporate card. For huge institutions, I think it is lesslikely to pick up date. For small corporate card holders, seems to work better. Also, on charge off accounts, it seems not to pick it up. In all cases, you can attempt to get it fixed. I have heard of people with charged off accounts get backdated to their charged off member date, but then get fr and blacklisted.
