so i apped over online
instant approval for 22k with15.99% everything sounds great
but i want it to expedited so i can start using the card for new furniture, so i called in and asked to expedited and delivered to my work.
since it isnt the same address they were asking few security question. after that they said the card is in review??wt.. they will contact me within 24hrs
what the heck just happened here?
what are they reviewing about?? i thought i was approved.
anyone know whats going on?
Checking to make sure it's not identity theft. A different address if I was a thief is where I would want the card to go.
so i shouldnt really worry about it much?
I wouldn't worry. Just protecting you as well as them. Lots of identity theft going on, I really can't blame them.

Well, your expedite is pretty much shot. And you have the paranoid security types looking at your new account.
Other than that, what can go wrong?

+1. OP definitely should have requested it expedited to the home, especially if nothing in their credit history indicates that work address.
when she told me it was going to be sent by UPS and needs to be signed off, i thought it would be better to be sent to my work since i wont be home.
stupid mistake =(
can they just verify the company name from my credit report and just googled the address and it should match
still no call from Chase.
Yeah, should have just had it expedited to your home. You could have picked it up if you were not going to be home to sign for it.
I did something similar and an underwriter had me drop the phone and call me at my home phone number to see if I would pick up. After that, they shipped the card to the other address I requested.

For chase the don't even make you sign for the packaget. Mother did it last week and UPS just left it at the door.
