I went ahead and apped for the JCP card and was approved. Low limit, only $200. I'm not surprised, as I know that they often begin with low limits. But, I understand that this card grows nicely, so I'm happy about that.
I also apped right after for the Dillard's card and got the dreaded 7-10 day message. Would apping for two cards from GEMB within the space of a few minutes trigger this? Well, I guess I'll see what comes in the mail.

Yes, GEMB/JCP grows pretty fast. I started with 300 and was upto 1500 in about 4 months and then to 1800 another 3-4 months later. Its sitting at that CL as of now (I may try for a CLI later in april/may)

No, it's GEMB.
The JCP account just posted to the CRAs yesterday... Wow! That was fast!!!
I just got a score alert from myFICO and checked my score, and I'm pleasantly surprised that it has not changed my EQ score one bit. Don't know about TU, as I only pay to check that on the 1st of the month. Now, if my scores change only minimally -- if at all -- when the Dillard's hits, I'll be thrilled!!!
