The card match itself probably doesn't improve your chances, if that's what you're asking.  But I'd give it a shot since it came up.  That's how I decided to apply for the BCE and I was approved despite my short credit history and age (19).  Worst case scenario, you get a hard inquiry with nothing to show for it.  Big deal, right?

Denied even after creditcard.com match. Had a 703 Experian I remember someone saying you need at least 720 for their revolving cards
