Re: Got my Amex BCE today, it's beautiful.

@youngandcreditwrthy

It is not the 61st day after approval. There is a very clear guide here for the OP and many others that will show how to calculate the account creation date. Also, calling into any Amex CSR can give you your eligibility date in my experience. But really easy way is logging into online account, and counting 61 days from the start of the first statement (account creation).

Re: Got my Amex BCE today, it's beautiful.

Congrats! I had the Zync and got turned down for BCE/BCP on multiple occasions. The other night I closed my Zync adn applied for PRG the night after and was approved. My Zync was NPSL. DO you think I'd be approved for BCE/BCP now that my Zync is closed?

Re: Got my Amex BCE today, it's beautiful.

snacktrader...

I rec'd my 3xcli on the exact 61st of opening my Amex BCE... my card was not activated until four days afer this approval date.

opened on 10/01/12 - 3xcli rec'd on the morning of 12/02/12.

keep in mind: that Amex 3xcli Guide was created by a living, human being... People make mistakes. ;-)

perhaps it should be changed to accurately reflect Amex's 3xcli policy.

It doesn't hurt to try since it's a SP when you're denied anyways.
