To me this thread shows the "sense of entitlement" that many Americans seem to have.
All the crying about how mean the keepers of the Capital One purse strings are isn't going to change how they do business. Capital Ones earnings in 2013 were $1B more than they were in 2012 ($21.4B vs. $22.4B). I'm sure they aren't too interested in what is said about them by John Q. Public when he didn't get the 3x CLI he so desperately felt he was entitled to, lol....

But they gave me a 4x increase......rofl (they really did 4x increase my card)
Well said! +1 I just got an upgrade to Quicksilver from Platinum, and am happy as a clam! It's our oldest card, and I am very humbly grateful that they took a chance on us. They even gave us a ridiculous auto CLI to $5000! This is a card that began at $500!!! I have my gorgeous son on it, and THAT, my friend, is WHAT'S IN MY WALLET! A symbol of triumph and hard work. I am proud to have this card and to have it grow with me as my credit score grows.

Wait... Wait, hold up! Credit Card vending machines at work, do you guys have any openings??
Some people like Capital One, I'm just not one of them. So I'll never apply for another one of theirs unless they change the way they do their business. Maybe one day though.
