Nordstrom is the lender; they have a bank? Fascinating!
Too bad it's a store card; I never shop at Nordstrom. It's very sharp looking!
You can apply for the Visa Version, but it has to be IN STORE.

love the new "slate" look though of the card... Very cool
Do you mind sharing what credit limit is?

Too bad the Visa is ugly as sin, though

That's what I'm gonna do... got my $2500 card in December. It was what triggered the Nordstrom/Discover/AmEX/Sallie Mae app spree... that's what I get for Christmas shopping.

So is cash... green? Why couldn't it be pink?
It all spends the same.
The Visa looks more like a garish foil gray than pink, but what really makes it ugly is the jarring white-bordered Visa logo and just how busy it is compared to the elegance of the store card.
It's really a good thing it doesn't look as good as the store card, because then I'd be really tempted to app for it and I absolutely don't need a rewards card of any kind from a store I don't patronize.

Yeah I see where you are coming from.
I didn't plan on getting one either because I'm not a fan of store cards (BB is all I had) but I took the bait and applied when I went Christmas shopping... the approval triggered an app spree that netted good results.
I found out later on these forums that the VISA is pretty easy to convert to after you've had the card a while... so all is not lost. I got a nice limit and should get a better one with the VISA conversion later this year.

SL $500...not complaining though at all since I had to go thru EO to get it open. The were IIB in 2013.
