I think there are a few threads already somewhere that list all of this data out. I know it's often covered in random threads, probably buried somewhere, but if someone could link a master type of thread for this it would be beneficial to the OP and others.

We run into this quite alot. Each cc company has their sp and hp policy for cli just depends on many factors. Some cc companies will give an auto cli, thus a sp cli, but no one can predict when these are given. Even banks that are normally sp can give a hp even when a sp was expected. A couple
Amex - sp
Boa - hp
CHASE - hp
Citi - hp unless given sp language
Discover- sp unless noted hp
NAVY FED- hp unless timed near a AR, can be sp
Penfed- hp, though can get sp if preapproved or timed within hp window
Synchrony - sp but hp can happen
Synchrony Financial- normally hp
These are just a few and as always YMMV. Good rule of thumb is good to expect a hp and be pleased if its only sp. These of course are my opinions and from what i picked up ftom here so i may be wrong , always do your research before apping a cli so you are disappointed
Capital One: SP
Comenity - SP but chance of a HP
That's awesome..... the next 2 cards I was thinking are sp on cli.
