I still think you should give Core Logic a call and dispute it. A check from you isn't enough to say this loan is yours.

When did you app your first AMEX card? It has to be done within 24 hours of apping to not have a second HP.

If you want to play safe, get Delta Gold or HIlton HHonor then PC into BCE (mentioned cobranded card are easier to get than Blue series).

 

If you want to go directly, aim for BCE. Either way, you won't have another HP if done within 24 hours.

I was advised after Zync approval to  go for a co-branded one. I went for the Delta Gold a few minutes after and got approved on the same pull. Didn't get the approval e-mail for a few days so be prepared for that.
