I'm kinda surprised.
My experian report shows 1 6-year old collection, 1 30-day late payment, and utilization on 2 store cards of about 90%, on my 9 month old discover of 50%.
But I have a bank account, retirement accounts, and income that is over $100K.
Approved for BCP with CL of $10K.
Wowzah! What are your scores?
My history is this:
Car loan for last 3 years (started at $35K).
Student loans opened in 2005, payments started in 2009.
Mortgage for last 1.5 years.
Sears card 15 years old (currently at 80% UT, CL reported at $2,950, just upped to $4,350)
Sears card+ 9 mo old (currently at 90% UT, CL $5,500)
JCP card 14 years old (UT < 10%, CL $2,500)
Kohls card 1 year old (UT < 20%, CL $1,500))
Discover card 9 mo old (currently at 40% UT, $4,000 CL reported, just upped to $7,500)
And 1 old chase card, opened in 1997, closed about 5 years, paying down balance, only owe $1,500 on it, 3 late payments (30-day) one each in 2009, 2008, 2007. Also have a couple of old 60 and 120 day that are 6 years old.
Also have 1 old collection on experian, drops off in november.
Experian Fako: 680
Equifax Fico: 693
Transunion Fico: 673 (still shows 2 collections that havent fallen off yet).
Congrats! That is a great starting line!
Congrats
To be fair the CSR said it was tentatively $10,000 but that it had not been finalized so it could change.
Wow!!! Congratulations, and welcome to the Amex family!
Nice CL, I guess 10+ year of credit history + 100k income makes them over look a few mis-steps over the years.
Congrats.
