I will add Chase to my list of cards never to apply for.

 

EDIT:  no i wont.  i actually don't have such a list.  The huge ordeal with Chase, though, certainly makes me reluctant to look for future loans at that institution.

Your Chase credit cards will probably report open again when the next bill gets generated for each account.
