Does Anyone know how i can recon capital one, i got denied today for a new card, and when i called reg csr they said there is no way to recon

1) i checked the backdoor #'s but dont know which one to call 2) no i dont know why they denied me yet, but she told me they are denying lots of ppl

Okay - try the Application Dept./Status number first - see if they can tell you the WHY part of it.  See if you can recon right then and there.  If that doesn't work, try the Account Specialist numbers.  If those don't work on the first try, then hang up and try again.  Sometimes it takes some initiative and persistence.

Can someone explain more about what to say when you call to Recon?  What should I say & what points should I try to make or what should I ask for??  Seems that some people have luck doing this.  I've always assumed a denial was just that.
