HHonors amex?

Going to be traveling......staying on hilton property......applied..got pending further review.....check back in 24 hrs......i figured i would spply..if denied its a soft......is this a denial?

checked status 1hr  later still pending...

Doesn't mean it's a denial, just check back tomorrow (or monday). Same thing happened to me and I was approved with a $9,500 CL.

Its not a denial they more than likely need to manually review it.

Yeah both my apps for the SPG and GoldPR took 2 days to be approved.

They were having difficulties with their site last night. Sooo, maybe that's it. I got the same message and that they couldn't locate my app. However I got an email at 3am to call them. Was approved this morning. Good luck to you.

remember you can also move around limits for an approval, take 6,500  and move 2,000 to the new app to get approved and you'll be fine.

That's strange ... Starwood was approved in this manner for me =) funny thing is after i transfered they gave me extra 2,000? but o wells ymmv

well if you dont get the amex version .. there is always the citi version .. I applied for both recently .. got both although citi required me calling in and they told me that they could only give me 2k on this new card because i was at 17.5k on my other citi card .. but if i wanted to move some of the CL over i could .. I did and got 5k.. I did both for the 50k point bonus .. Going on vacation next month.. nothing like staying for free!
