My son called Discover and was asked for reconsideration and the CSR stated he had only one paid CO from a utility bill that wasnt paid by a roommate. She stated that he would not be approved until it is paid and comes off the credit report. I hope thats not true but we will be paying it off this week but our utility company is very strict and never removes anything. Good news is Barclays reconsidered and saw that same collection and because of that the approved him with a very low starting limit $250.00. Its a start and im happy. Thanks myfico!
