HP v SP CC inquiry: does it matter?

If creditors see everything but other soft inqs on a soft inquiry, does strategic apping matter? For example: if I want to app Amex and they pull Experian, while also apping a credit union because they only pull TU thinking the inqs will not be seen-by each other, can't either creditor see an app or new account regardless? Thanks for the input.

Yes, it can still matter.   When Amex pulls EXP, they put the HP there.  The CU pulling TU DOESN'T see it, they only see what is on the TU report.

So HPs on report X are visible to all that pull X, but not if they pull Y.
