My statements for both the orchard and sears solutions mastercard cut yesterday. I logged in to view my statements tonight and the home page says "Your account is Closed" on both accounts. Available credit also went to $0.00. Anyone else see this?
My Orchard card is still open.
Had you used the cards anytime recently? Worth calling the CS number on the back of the card and asking what's up tomorrow I think.
I use the cards all the time espicially the sears card. It looks like my direct rewards discover from HSBC was also closed. I called customer service and was given a number for accounts review department but they are only open Mon-Fri. Maybe it's time to replace them with capital one cards.
Did anything change with your CR's???
Just checked and my crap Household Bank/Cap One card is still alive with the same $300 crap limit..lol

I have noticed that Capital One has been softening my credit reports (thankfully clean) about twice a month. I wonder if they are 'weeding' out some accounts that they aquired?
It looks like they reported to the bureaus already and account status is still active.

Do you think maybe they are issuing new cards and maybe those cards were closed?

That's what I was thinking. Haven't heard of this happening yet though, and unless something dinged the OPs reports for them to close it, then they don't really have a reason to.
Perhaps its time to think about AMEX Zync, its a charge card but a foot in the door with AMEX is better than sub-prime credit card.
with a 640 its in the range that people have been reporting success. Need to have 6 months experience with one or more cards, and no recent baddies.
After 6 months to a year you can try for Chase or possibilty a AMEX revolver if you get near to a 700 EX
