What kind of HSBC card do you have?
These are the latest numbers from the backdoor sticky, which was updated about a week ago:
HSBC: 866-574-4421 (App Status)
HSBC: 866-719-3897 (Credit Analyst?) <---
These numbers are generally not intended for general public use and are therefore changed alot.
I also thought HSBC in particular was in a no user initiated CLI request phase, but I could be wrong. Let's see what other action we can bring in here for you!

I do know that when I've tried to call the (Credit Analyst) 866-719-3897 number it is picked up by an automated system. It will give you your balance, remaining credit, and any payments due. There is an option to speak with a customer service rep but when it transfers the call it hangs up on you. I've tried numerous times only to have the same issue occur each time

Try on different days and at different times. I had one where I swear that happened to me and an hour later I said what the heck and tried it again. They had forwarding during break, shift change, something else? I don't know. Wouldn't hurt to try. My experience was with Citibank; yours could also be doing the same thing?
