I was able to talk them up to $1,000 even from a $600 limit.
Not much but at least it was something! Yay! I used the backdoor number. Very nice people in the Executive resolution unit and credit department. At least that's my experience thus far.

Congrats! Just making sure, was it the number below that you called?
HSBC: 866-280-0118 (Executive Resolution Unit)

Yes, I called that number too, but it was the people at this number (866)-551-0258 (Credit Analyst) that gave me the increase. But yeah, the number you have is great as well. The reason the Exec Res Unit could not help me at the time is because I had not activated my card yet.
