HSBC Discover Closed due to nonuse - reported as closed by consumer request. They gave 1K cl and no CLI's not worth keeing a card with small CL.

Probably as good a way out as any.

I'm noticing that more and more banks that are closing cards randomly are reporting them as "closed by consumer request." Of course, we all know that who closes it doesn't affect scoring, but I'll bet they're trying to reduce the number of irate phone calls from consumers.
