I have recieved something and basically it just says that Cap One will be servicing the account but nothing else is changing regarding the website or annual fees ect.

Not a word from HSBC or Capital One. I found out that it happened when I was checking my reports and saw that HSBC had been changed to Capital One on all three CR's.

My Best Buy Store card that was HSBC listed recently on CR's as Cap 1. I also received a snail mail letter last week notifying me of the change (after the CR change posted).
I requested a CLI and was told no, but it wasn't at the 6 month interval yet (I originally got the card in Dec 2010). Probably would have been best to request a CLI in mid June or July (I guess they're every 6 months from the month you got the card, not sure).

I have gotten mail from them on my direct rewards discover, best buy store card.....about the servicing th accounts.....just wondering if they will do something with my plan b bet buy account.......would like to get off that 750 max limit...
