HSBC Premier World MC

A couple questions here:

Does anyone have this card? What do you think of it?

Also, if they send you an invite, is it a guaranteed approval? HP or SP?

I don't have the card in question but invites are not guaranteed and any and all apps for credit are HP's except Amex if you are a card member

Then its a SP if denied HP if approved

Edit shopping cart cards are SP also

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: HSBC Premier World MC

The HSBC Premier WMC is a high-tiered CC which was part of their prime CC portfolio separate from the sold-off/divested "not-so prime" portfolio that was purchased by Capital One (Household Bank, Orchard Bank, etc.).

As with any CC, approval is based on a variety of factors which may include the pre-screened criteria, but will likely be HP.  The HSBC u/w arm for this CC is usually more conservative.

Also, from their website:

HSBC Premier World MasterCard requires an HSBC relationship and is subject to credit approval. To qualify for an HSBC Premier relationship, you need to open an HSBC Premier checking account and maintain $100,000 in combined U.S. personal deposit and investment balances. Business owners may use their commercial balances to qualify for personal HSBC Premier Relationship.
