I opened a BBRZ credit card in July but I never received a score watch alert with a new account open.

I do have a baddie with them (HSBC)  that is 3 years old.  I'm wondering do they backlist you even if you have a baddie with them?

The acct is showing date opened is 7/10, seems weird that I never got a score watch alert regarding a new account open.

Any ideas???????????????????

Au contraire, my friend.  HSBC does blacklist.  The thing is that their blacklist is sometimes brain-dead.  For example, after burning HSBC you might find an approval for an Orchard Bank card, turn around and apply for a Best Buy or a regular HSBC card and get declined for "HSBC Payment History."  Or maybe not. 

At least with AmEx and, sometimes, CrapOne you know where you stand and don't waste an INQ when you test the waters.
