Happy With Cap 1

Hi.. I just wanted to say that I am addicted to this forum!  I have learned so

much from reading all the posts.  I have been trying to rebuild my credit

after a BK 3 1/2 years ago.  I received a pre-approval for a Cap 1 Platinum

card earlier this year and received the card in April with an initial $2000 credit

line.. which I thought was pretty good, in light of my situation.  I used the back

door number today to ask for a CLI and got one for $750.  I would've never

known I could do that if it wasn't for this forum.  Thanks to all of you.  I have

a long way to go .. but.. I hope to be in the 700 club some day soon.

Use the card and pay them on time and you might see your CL increase even higher.  But you have to use the card.  Are you on the "credit steps"?

You know what.. I am not sure if I am credit steps with them but I probably

am in light of my scores.  I seem to recall reading something about it but

I may be thinking about one of the posts I have seen here about credit steps.

I have been using the card a lot, then making in big payments, paying it back

down and then using it again.
