Hard or soft pull?

Maybe we can get a thread going so we can know what companies pull what. If you know what company does what post it here. i would like to know if kohls and home depot does soft or hard pulls and how easy is it to get a CLI with them.

Are you referencing "soft or hard" for a CLI ........... or the INITIAL  application of account ? Almost every lender will do a "hard"pull when the account is first applied for.... some will just do a "soft" for approving a limit increase , then again, there are some that will ding you for a hard for a limit increase  even on an existing account.... anyone see it any differently ?

for CLIs tring to see if i hit that increase button will it help me at all...just opened a amex so i may wait a few months so they dont close it
