Has anyone PCed Barclaycard Arrival with AF to no AF?

I recently got approved for the Barclaycard Arrival with annual fee. Will I have trouble PCing it before I have to pay the annual fee?

I'm interested to know about this too. Last I read, the earliest anyone would have been able to PC would have been December 2013. I think that is because the card was launched in December 2012.

You have to wait a year and pay the first Annual Fee anyways? Guess I will just cancel. Got 9 other cards anyways but I did want to keep my only MasterCard...

When is your year anniversary?

I'm not sure these forums have figured out the answer quite yet, but if you give it time someone will figure this out. My guess would be that very few people want to pay the fee on this. I am included in that camp.

At the very least, I will be calling quite a bit in April and May Smiley Happy

January 3rd I believe. I'll just be sure to do something about it before 2015.

Oh!!! You just got the card! We will 100% guaranteed have an answer by then. In the meantime, enjoy the card! With the bonus, I've earned $600 in rewards on the card, and when I redeem these 60,000 miles I will get another $60 back. It's hard to argue about the benefit of this card when you look at the $400 signup bonus, the waived annual fee, and 2.2% earnings.

Actually it's still in the mail even! Lol but yes I just got approved. This is my first AF card but I don't think I would use it enough to pay for fee.

You're probably right. For example, I have a no-AF Capital One Cash Rewards that gets me 1.5% cash back on every purchase. In order to keep the AF Arrival and make it profitable over the Capital One Cash Rewards I would need to spend over $12,715 on the card each year. ($89 AF divided by (.022-.015))

While that might be possible for many people, my BCP spending ($8,500+), Chase Freedom spending, Citi Forward Spending ($6,000+) and my level of income doesn't make this guarantee. I also want to free myself to get the CSP and divert some spending there to gather the signup bonus and earn UR points.
