I applied for a CLI on my GEMB WalMart Discover and was turned down. On the flip side, I applied for a Cabela's Visa and was instantly approved.
Just a quick update: My CL with Cabela's is $1000 (that card finally came in my mail today). It's a little disappointing considering that other post-BK people were getting CLs of $3000-$5000. No biggie, though. I'm also going to wait at least two more months before I submit another CLI request for the Wal-Mart Discover.

2 Days ago, I applied for an AMEX Gold Card in response to a pre-approval offer and had instant approval.
I'm in California and they pulled EX.

If I were you I would shoot for more clubs, but I would make it the 700 and 800 club. It is crazy that I have such wild scores. The weird thing is that I can't really explain it. There isn't a whole lot of difference between my reports. I'm going to wait because I should have a chargeoff fall off in November and one in December. After then I'll really examine why they are different. Less accounts to deal with.
