Has anyone else's Cap 1 statement cut earlier for the last few months?

I'm LIVID!! I just opened a capital one account on March 23rd.  I accumlated charged on my cash rewards Capital one card totaling $1200.  My goal was to PIF by the due date, May 13 .  Unfortunately, this morning I was alerted by my Equifax credit monitoring service that a new account was added - Capital one balance $1200!!!  My ultization is through the rough now.

What can I do about this?  I know my score dropped.

It's no big deal. Once you pay this off next month and it updates your utilization will drop.
