Has anyone successfully done the shopping cart trick for Trek?

I have seen Trek listed as one of the sites for the shopping cart trick and they do offer a store card from Comenity Bank but I have yet to hear of anyone getting this card using the shopping cart trick. I got pre-approved for J Crew last night but, out of all of the retailers with Comenity, Trek is the only one that I actually want.

I got the pop up for vs and express. I can't get Jcrew which is the store I do want. When did the pop up come up for you? After entering your zip code?

Honestly, I can't remember at this point. I don't know if it was right after I entered my zip or not but It showed up at the top of the page. I have the opposite situation, I was approved for J Crew but I cannot get the pop-up on VS or Express.

What's weird is for express, it didn't pop up until I put in my address exactly as it appears I'm my experian report. But I know both vs and express pull equifax. On my experian report, my address is incorrect. It's suppose to be 1234 63rd dr Ne but on my ex report it's 1234 63rd ne drive and I go the pop up. I already changed my address but idk these pop up deals are tricky.

I'll try out Trek right now and see...I honestly feel like these pre-approvals are like Russian roulette. I was playing with a few yesterday and only got VS and Avenue to come up, after going through half of the list...

No go...I feel like any of the Comenity websites that make you put in billing and payment information on the same page won't produce the pop-up. Ones that let you put in billing information then click continue seem to be good for pop-ups.

I was thinking the same thing but Express has you enter all the info, cc and everything on the same page. I haven't received the Express pop-up but it seems like many others do.

Jcrew gave me the pop up finally and it came after picking which shipping cost I wanted.

I just tried it on express and got the pop up but I didnt go through with it because I do not want another "new" account reporting.
