So my limit now is $10k. I want to get it to the $24.5k or whatever it is they allow without asking for info.
So when I ask for the increase I'm going to ask for another $14.5k? Or does it ask you "what do you want your limit to be?" and you put $24.5k?
You enter whatever you want your new limit to be, so put $24.5k if that's what you want to request.
Thanks.
Hello! I have a question regarding my Amex Delta, not meaning to hijack the thread but want to make sure I amusing my card correctly because I was a low approval. I have 1000k limit and my card was opened Sept 24. I am unsure if there has been any soft pulls, where should I check, experian.com? My card has been used alot and I have made one payment and about to make another payment tomorrow to bring the balance down from 880 to 300. Is this correct way to ensure my 61 CLI, because I need it due to the low limit.
@ Lexie What balance should I have ? and should I make sure to pay before my balance reports or after? Thanks.
Thanks Lexie!

OP that's so silly to ask for 24500... If you qualify for 30, ask for that... If they don't think so they will counter!
This bs about some magic number getting fr so don't ask for it is just that silly... It can happen at $500 or $75k!
+1
I completely agree. Unless you have something to hide, I would go for the full 3x. And if you're trying to get away with something, AMEX will be on to you regardless. It's not their first time at the rodeo.
