I have a lot of cards that I haven't used in over a year and many I haven't used in quite a few years. I have never had a card shut down for inactivity. The ones that I have that I don't worry about are Amex, USAA, AAFES Military Star, Target, US Bank, National City, and any of my credit union cards. The ones that are well known to shut down cards are BofA, Citi, Chase, GEMB, HSBC, and Juniper in my opinion. YMMV. I believe those that PIF have a lot less to worry about as far as activity on a card goes.
Has anyone ever heard of an AMEX card being shut down for no use?
