I would hope if someone was looking to carry a balance they would be able to get a 0% APR offer. If someone is carrying a balance and paying an apr then that will pretty much negate any rewards.

True and agreed, but please remember that even the best 0% promo offer only lasts for so long, before most cards then enter into the double-digit, go-to APR range Smiley Happy   Versus potentially having one very low, long-term and single-digit APR.

The Barclay ring card is a better option imo

My Cards: Amex BCE: $9,000, Amex Hilton HHonors: $2,000, Amex ED: $12,000, Barclays NFL extra points: $3,000, Bank of America MLB cash rewards: $17,000, BBVA compass NBA Amex triple double rewards: $17,000, Chase Amazon: $1,000, Chase Freedom: $9,000, Chase Sapphire: $5,000, Chase Slate: $5,000, Chase Disney: $4,000, Citi Double Cash: $5,400, Citi AA plat: $5,500, Citi Simplicity: $3,000, Citi Thank you preferred: $8,800, Capital one GM: $2,000, Capital one PlayStation: $3,000, Gamestop: $1,150, Amazon Store: $5,000, Ebay MasterCard: $5,000, American Eagle Storecard: $750, Macy's: $500

Then you apply for another 0% card and BT... Never an excuse to be paying any APR...even if it is 6%

You will run out of those eventually

Here's what I have: Chase Freedom, Discover IT, BOA BBR, AMEX BCE, Capital1 QS, Barclay Sallie Mae, US Bank Cash+. Have pretty low spending so not looking for something with an AF (most likely). Is there anything I should apply for? maybe Discover Miles? Thanks.

I'm on the same boat as you--it's called app withdrawal. I would just concentrate on CLIs and APR reductions from now on. Don't app for something out of boredom--that's how you get stuck with subpar cards from smallish issuers, which you've managed to stay away from. Great lineup, by the way.

But if you absolutely have to app, I'd go with the Fidelity Amex.

Eh cdouble cash is much easier and isn't an Amex. Go with the double cash 100% of the time over the fidelity Amex.
