Help getting my brother started in credit

Re: Help getting my brother started in credit

Yes since his credit file is blank, he should just use your address for now.  Once he gets his own cards (not AU cards), he can switch to whatever address he wants.  In mean time, best bet is to use your address for everything.  Btw, AMEX will definitely report as they ask for SSN so for sure have the address for him as yours.

BoA asked for a social security number too so I'm guessing they definitely will as well. Discover said they'd overnight the card to me so that works. Then come January or February get him a nice backdated AmEx Zync and he can start growing his own credit and by his early - mid twenties have a nice report ready for mortgage/auto loans.
