Help me, can i apply for BCP OR CSP and one travel card.

I have     10,000 outstanding   utilization  on 2 cards   14 percent around.

5 years of credit history. Clean....    and one auto loan  17k in good standing from DCU . 

Annual pay  91k.

My cards...

BANK OF AMERICA     20,000

citi  platinum                   19500

discover it                        14000

dcu platinum                 10,000

thank you preferred        5500

BBY  Capital one             5000

visa siggy  BOA              2500.

i had 4 eqnquires in  last 35 days.... from penfed membership ( Not card) .  and 3 enquiries for increasing limits on discover, bank of america, and citi.  all enquiries on euifax  and one on trans union.

Current  score.. fico transunion  723,  fico equifax  708.   (Becuase of enquiries it fell)

Going to pay of  8500  towards the cards in next 35 days.  to bring down utilization to 1 or 2%

My last account opened 14 mnoths ago.. amex green... and closed immediately in one month. I didn't like features.

Iam thinking of applying  bcp or bce and CSP.  .what are the options...shall i wait for 2 or 3 months...  or shall i apply when my utilization comes down to 1 or 2 %.

Your credit is fine now.  It will be better when the lower balances report.  Apply now or wait.  Both should be fine.

As for which card - CSP is a travel card.  Or get both.  They serve different purposes.

I agree with djrez4.  You could wait if you like esp for Amex but if you apply for both I would apply for CSP then Amex.
