I throw in my two cents, if you don't know if AF is worth it, i assume you don't really know how you would use your card to maximize your spending? You probably should take an step back and do some more research on the card if its an card you would actually use to make it worth the really high AF. Another thing to note about DC cards is they don't have any signup bonuses , so you would really have to put an lot of spend on that card to make it worth while if you are worried about Annual fee.
a thing to note. If you try to use points for statement credit they are only worth around 6/10 of a penny. only worth 1 cent a piece if you apply it toward an annual fee. Best thing is to transfer the points. (this is based on redemeptions for the professional cards, nothing has been rolled out for the consumer cards yet)
If it helps you at all, I was approved for Diners with TONS of INQS and more than a few new accounts opened in the past 3 months, so if you are worried about that, don't be.
From your sig, it looks like the majority of your cards are no AF cards. You have to decide if another AF is worth it to you.
My 2 pennies

Very good point. I rather have the Arrival+ instead of the Premiere and the Ritz Carlton/Citi Prestige instead of the Elite.

You are a "good support" ..... OP I know how you feel as I want that card soooo badly but I stick to my plan..no apps within 6 months of another app and therefore forced myself to garden any further. The good thing is that now I have time to think about which one to apply for when I am ready. DCP or DCE and tend to go for the DCE and eat the hefty AF on that one. Stay strong - you can do it !

So what is the real attraction behind this card other than the large credit limits that most people seem to be getting?
Is there some hidden perk / feature that I am missing?
if it is just the huge CLs, what's to guarantee that the issuing bank (BMO Harris) will not reverse course and start cancelling cards or reducing limits? That happened to the Duck card last year.

The one thing that keeps me from doing it is that I cannot justify the AF. I have a feeling I'm going to come across another success story and just say F-it and apply.
Where's my support group!?
I say do it. Ge it out of your system. I will pay AF for 30k line.

Access to 500 airport lounges, mostly overseas. Chip + PIN, not the lame signature primary, 13.15% APR, no FX fee (expected with the AF). These are benefits of both cards, so $95 AF gets them too.

Leave it where it is and hunker down in the garden. Winter is a coming!!!
