Good job. Now you can focus on getting prime cards.

My Wallet:
Discover It $11,000 | Chase Freedom $5000 | AMEX BCE $3000 | Paypal Extras Platinum $3,000 | Wells Fargo $1,000 | AMEX Zync NPSL

I want:
AMEX BCP | Chase Sapphire Preferred | US Bank Cash+ | Citibank Dividend Preferred

Re: Help me think im good longish term

The Cabela's Visa is a decent card, especially if you shop there. You get 2% cash back there, plus $25 in cash backupon approval. Plus 1% cash back on everything else. No AF, andtithe interest rate is decent (mine is 12%).  They pull a hard on EQ for CLI's.

CC's: AMEX Delta/BCP/HH, Alliant Visa, PenFed AMEX, Nordstrom Sig Visa, Lowe's, BBRZ Plat, US Bank Visa Sig Cash+, Chase CSP/Freedom/Marriott, UMB Visa, Dillard's AMEX, US Airways MC, Barclay's NFL Visa, Home Depot, Citi Diamond Pref./Dividend, Discover More, Walmart Discover, Cabela's Visa, Cap One Cash Rewards Visa, BOA Better Balance Rewards MC, Jared, Kohl's, Macy's.

Current Scores: EQ (5/19/13): 743; TU (MyFico 5/19/13):766; Walmart TU Fico 08 (5/13/13): 791; EX (8/21/12 AMEX pull): 779

I've considered this as a card for my husband. Do you know what the approval scores needed are?  He's credit challenged at the moment, but rebuilding via NFCU Platinum card with a 4k limit

Re: Help me think im good longish term

I would have to research the boards some, but can tell you that when I was approved in 2009, my score was around 660ish, with a 7 yo BK still reporting. There have been some mixed reports of them no longer being BK friendly, as of late.

CC's: AMEX Delta/BCP/HH, Alliant Visa, PenFed AMEX, Nordstrom Sig Visa, Lowe's, BBRZ Plat, US Bank Visa Sig Cash+, Chase CSP/Freedom/Marriott, UMB Visa, Dillard's AMEX, US Airways MC, Barclay's NFL Visa, Home Depot, Citi Diamond Pref./Dividend, Discover More, Walmart Discover, Cabela's Visa, Cap One Cash Rewards Visa, BOA Better Balance Rewards MC, Jared, Kohl's, Macy's.

Current Scores: EQ (5/19/13): 743; TU (MyFico 5/19/13):766; Walmart TU Fico 08 (5/13/13): 791; EX (8/21/12 AMEX pull): 779
