Okay, here goes-
I just got my CR cleaned up, taking my score from 590 to the mid 700s (according to the usaa creditwatch monitoring thingy).
As of right now, all I have is a secured BofA visa (CL 3k)-had it for a month. Nothing else. For business/selfish purposes, I would lllllove to get the Amex Delta SkyMiles Platinum. But there are two issues:
1. I'm about to move and am wary of burning an inquiry on my cr. Depending on who you believe, I have from 0-3 on there now.
2. I had a collection removed via pfd from Amex a few months ago. I had a platinum Amex and now they're offering me a preapproved Optima with a $500 credit line.
Should I apply for the platinum skymiles Amex card or do the Optima thing and demonstrate that I can PIF every month or just wait?
