I think its some kind of skiptracing lingo. I think it means they cannot find you. If you correspond with them I bet that memo would change to customer has located consumer. I guess they are the customer and you the consumer.

Start by disputing just with the CRA. If they cannot find someone..how can it be verified? I looked up them on the BBB and they have a F rating. They look like they are a collection agency that collects on behalf of a payday loan. File a BBB complaint.

exactly what I was thinking.... it's only on my EQ so far... i disputed it yesterday but it's just so odd that they reported without being able to locate my collection account... am hoping to get this resolved asap... =/
And it is possible that they only reported on that one bureau. My last collection had been reported only on equifax, apparently it had been on my report since 2007 but I never cared to look at my reports. As soon as I saw it I had to fight for 6 months for its removal and that was only after dragging the original creditor into the mess, BBB complaint, etc. It turned out to be a valid debt that happen during Hurricane Katrina. I ended up paying and the original creditor instructed the collection agency to delete.

I think it is from an hsbc account that was sold to National Credit Adjusters and now this CA sold it to this new CA... Its almost a 5 yr old debt.... I wished they wouldve contacted me before reporting...
