Here come the pre approvals...

I haven't apped for anything since 08 August.

Util is creeping downward, nothing special.  FICO is creeping upward, no leaps or bounds.

Got a pre approval for First Premier last week...puke...still, it IS a pre approval. 

Got a pre approval today for Spring leaf financial...not going to bite, but it's another pre approval...

Since my scores have gone up I am also getting a lot of pre approvals. Cap 1 keeps wanting me to buy a car....

It's a good feeling sometimes to get them, shows your credit is improving!

I never get any preapprovals except BoA and subprime cards, but I usually get approved instantly for whatever I apply for.  I don't get how it works.

Me too.  I always get approved instantly(except CASH+).   The funny thing is if I let a large(2-3K) balance report I will get better pre-approvals.  I think on their soft pulls they think I'm a credit deadbeat aka Large available CL but only a $100 reported balance.

I mean its like every other day...NOOO I don't want to finance a 30k car with you Cap1 that is why I haven't responded to the 2000 mailers you have sent me.
