Do you actually use those limits? Say the 10K+ members?

I have 2 card in the 10k+ so do i qualify? If so i dont even use half of that
Yea you might not use it but it sure does help out with util
Can't wait till I get my first 5 digit CL!! But I'm real close...LOL
Mine is 13,900. Got it 3-4 months ago with a 11,200 limit. I only put a couple hundred through every month and it really helps my util.

Well, that's true but only up to a point, eventually more credit doesn't really impact util significantly. I have about 180K in CL, and my current balance is about $250, though it has been maybe 5K at some point. I doubt if losing 30K of credit would change the score much at that low rate of utilization.
So why multiple HL cards? What happens is once you have sufficient credit, you apply for a card you want for particular rewards, say in my case BCP and US Bank Cash Plus and you get another card with a 10K+ limit, whether you need a high limit or not. Another example of it's easy to get credit when you don't need it, much harder when you do.
The exceptions for me are the Citi Forward and Barclays Rewards, which gave me lower limits, don't know why.

Yea I don't think $30K would hurt that $180K at all....it'd be nice if I ever had the opportunity to try it though
With these HL's are you ever denied for having excess credit?
I haven't been denied for excess credit, but I haven't been a heavy apper, 6 in 2012 is a record for me, and I also closed 5 cards in the last 18 months.

6 apps? Yea you're light weight compared to what I did in 2012...LOL!! I went absolutely nuts so I have to lay low for a loooooong time and just tend to what I have.
But as for you, well I surmise when you already have all of the CC's that many people want then there's not really much more to go for...except for maybe the prestige (and heavy fees) of the palladium! Or do you already have that too?!
