I currently have 4 credit cards ALL with limits UNDER $800. I recently requested a CLI from Capital One and was approved for an additional $150....any tips or recommendations on #1 how to get higher limits?
Current Cards:
Care Credit - $800 -
Capital One Quick Silver = $650
Capital One Secured turned Platinum - $500
Finger Hut - $250
Credit Union Line of Credit - $1500
how old are the cap one cards?
OP, your scores indicate you have a baddie or two? Echoing the question, how old are the Cap One cards? If they are of a certain age, and your history with Cap One is good, it might be time to consider a new app for a Quicksilver no-AF card.
I have a Quicksilver card.
cards have been open since January 2015 (quick silver) & December 2014

dont app for anything else. focus your spend just on the cap1, forget the rest. spend to the max and pif over and over. cli every 6 months. the bads are a big deal in your case, they might hold you back for some time but you still might be able to advance your cl on the c1 in time. don't app until your scores are closer to 700x3 - you dont need any more low cl cards and never be late. ever. good luck, happy new year

That's very recent. i wouldn't apply for anything else until your scores get above 650. You might want to go through the process of joining NFCU and being ready to apply when your scores are a bit higher. NFCU tends to give decent limits to people with lower scores. There are large threads about NFCU and how anyone can join. Lots to read.
