Today, I got bored, so I decided to call AmEx customer support and ask random questions. After I was greeted, I asked "Can I purchase a car with my American Express Card? The lady said, "I don't see why not! Tell me how much it is and I'll check if we can approve that amount." I told her I would like to get a 92k BMW, and to my surprise, she said that amount was approved. She also sounded quite surprised too. This really made me quite happy, since all my other credit card limits added together are not 92k.
Awesome limits.
PNC - 17.5k
Citi - 10.2k
BOA - 10k
Few other ranging from 1-8k.
Highest is Citi Thank You with $25,000, next highest is JP Morgan Ritz Carlton Visa at $20,000.

I received 2 cards with 7k limits and put my income at 30k
So that can't be the case.
Wow, some great limits. I dont come anywhere close but i will soon I hope
I was talking to Card services for BOA and the account spacialist said that limits are dictated moslty at 35% of income max. Not sure how accurate that is. Maybe others could confirm/refute this statement.

Actually the 20% makes sense to me. Chase gave me 20,500 when my income is 100k. Of coruse, if your income is lower, that % could be higher. I would be surprise if you had a card with 25k when your income is 30k.

I'm surprised to see your Discover More at $1000 when your chase is $20k. What did they tell you?

Challenge accepted
But you're probably right.
Highest is a Citi 25k card. No frills or rewards - it was secured until they unsecured it earlier this year. They just waived the AF.
BOA 13.6K
HSBC 11.5K
Capital 1 3K
