I applied for a CLI from $7500 to $9000 a couple days ago and was declined.  I should be getting a letter soon explaining why.  Even at $7500 it's my highest limit.

Well, I guess GE is tired of me.

I requested a CLI to $30,000 just now via Credit Solutions and they denied me altogether :-(

I know my TU FICO has sunk from a 696 as of GE's last pull on Jan 24th to something like 690 now.

When you call GE Credit Solutions, does the Analyst decide if you are denied or approved?

I mean, I guess I really don't need a $30,000 limit. I'm going to prob close my Chevron account later today. I wish I could close my Orcahrd Bank Gold account, but it's one of my oldest tradelines :-(

Old does not mean you need to keep, especially if AF!  It will stay on your credit report.

Try PAYPAL!!! I die to read yours posts for your GE CLI... I'm way jelly... need to get my relationship back on track with GE soon!
