Holly Cow Chase Southwest and question about redistribute

Ok since I play to fdly Southwest a lot more and they are running a special with miles I thought I would apply for 50,000 points offer

My cureent cards with Chase are a Chase Freedom at $2000 Credit Limit and a Chase Disney Card (not the premier) at only $500

Now I wonder if they will redistibute any of those credit lines, or what the time frame is on that request, I rather not have a measly $500 on Disney

Well after applying I get this:

---

Congratulations! Your application for Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Premier Card has been approved.

You will receive your new card and your Cardmember Agreement within 7-10 business days. When your card arrives, please call the toll-free number provided to confirm receipt.

    • Your new account has a Credit Access Line of $12,000.
If this does not meet your needs, you can discuss available credit line options with a Customer Service Specialist when you call to confirm receipt of your card.

    • Your Purchase Annual Percentage Rate (APR) is 15.24% variable.

Thank you for choosing Chase.

Grats! Chase is usually more generous with their co-branded cards. I think you will have to wait 12 months before you can move the southwest CL around.

Chase does report limits.

Its a great card especially since you will be flying southwest frequently.

Congarts on the card and the bonus........ nice

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Holly Cow Chase Southwest and question about redistribute

I used to fly SW a lot when I was going back and forth LA and SFO 3-4 times in a week.

I wish I knew about credit cards then. I used my WF card for all those purchases and didn't even have a rapid rewards account set up. All those miles gone...... Smiley Mad

50k miles is equivalent to a lot of flights if you redeem it at the cheapest rate! Smiley Happy

That's the exact same "milk-run" I used to make all the time.

There is an upcoming devaluation of SW points which was released this week, taking effect in March 2014. Approximate devaluation of 14%.
