Home Depot Recon

I applied for Home Depot and was denied. I called about a recon but the CSR said I would have to re-apply since the application had already been processed. i haven't even receive dthe denial letter yet, i just called to check the status. Doe sthsi sound right, or is there another # I should call for recon. Thanks.

Me and my best friend are both absolutely new to credit (we have NONE). However, when I applied to Home Depot I was denied. I did a recon and was denied also. Then, on the same day, my best friend applied and was approved for 1000 CL. That sucks! But I applied for Chase BP visa and was initially denied but called rep and got approved for 1000.00. My friend did the same and was denied for that card. That is wierd, it defies everything that I thought about this whole credit process.
