I just called to find out the results of my online application, which was approve immediately. My TU score 584. My line (I am extremely astonished): $3000. Holy moly!!! That will help with utilization. No information on interest rate and AF, but WOW!!!
Wow congrats!!! Whats your APR on that? Nerer really looked at that card, not really me. Just pulled up the T&Cs ad found they have sme really good APRs, as low as 7.75
did you already combine, or just put in the request. i thought i could combine as well, untill the letter saying no way, can't do it. i ended up closing 3 cards.
heirophant wrote:Actually, I am combining the Orchard and HSBC. That was the plan when I got the HSBC card. No AF and 12.9%. My Orchard now has a $850 limit, so I was going to combine that with the $300 HSBC for $1150. Sounds better to me than paying the $59 fee for the Orchard. Plus, HSBC has not treated me wrong. Seems to me that they get a bad reputation. I just talk nicely to the CSR's and I seem to get results.
one had an af, one didn't, so these were unable to be combined. the other was the hsbc/orchard backed discover, was told that can't be combined w/either of the other two as well (something about diff type of product if i recall correctly).
heirophant wrote:I have only put in the request. The CSR seemed pretty confident that it could be done. I guess we'll see. I have no balance on my Orchard, so I couldn't see them denying it b/c of the balance going to a lower-rate card. What reason did they give you for denial of your request?
