Anyone know how accurate BOA's preapproval tool is?

DW was preapproved last year through that link for the Amex version for $1500 and also for two other cards at the same limit. She completed the app and was only approved for $1000, which she accepted.

My dad was pre-approved for $7500, applied, got the card a week or two later, $500!!! Called and spoke with credit and they raised it to $5000.
Waiting is so Overrated! :smileytongue:
