Some internal scoring formula that involves your income and the possibility you could actually repay the money before your death.

I do not actually own any credit cards, it says on the back of each one: Property of XXXX to be surrendered upon request."
Know of any specific bank that uses that type of scoring formula?
If they are using age as a predictor for mortality and then factoring that into their credit approval process they will have extremely serious problems with the Equal Credit Opportunity Act.
HSBC Platinum MasterCard with Cash or Fly Rewards.
Cap1 Visa - 1400 CL
Cap1 No Hassle Cash Rewards MC - 500 CL
First Premier MC - 500 CL, 600 CL (both of these need to GO this year!)
Orchard Bank MC - 300 CL
Kay's Store Card - 5100 CL
I PIF every month on all of these and am careful to report a $0 balance on each. Also, three old, closed out accounts with balances (although one is still reporting as open!) that will be paid off by the end of spring. Things are steadily progressing in the right direction, and I hope to move out of subprime land before too much longer.
