How Much Does Current AMEX Activity Figure In New APP

I've had my AMEX Gold for just under a year, and was instantly approved for 10K at Costco, even with a 1 year old CO on record.  Also, I only really used the AMEX for CreditSecure, so there wasn't too much activity showing.

I apped and was instant approved 3/28/11 for the Blue Cash, apped and instant approved 7/16/11 for the PR Gold. Both backdated to 91.
