Hi all! I was just checking my current report and it doesn't reflect the $2000 I have paid towards my credit cards. I guess I thought they updated them regularly. So, my question is how do I find out when they share my balances with the credit bureaus? I am trying to get everything in order before my 61st day for the Amex 3 x cli. I want to make sure it is all updated before I try for the increase. Thanks!
Do you have credit karma and credit seasme? They are both free and should update you when your balance changes on your credit cards.

No no no no.
CK and CS have access to your credit balances live-time because in using those services, you've provided your log in and password for each account and have signed on with each account - you've granted it access to see what your balances are on all your cards in live time.
This is entirely different from when your creditors report to one of the three CRAs.
Typically, they report around the statement date. I've noticed recently that Barclay reports the day before the statement cuts, for example.

Ski, he was referring to the updates from the credit bureaus, not updates from the card companies themselves. When CK updates each week, it shows what the credit report shows (mostly). And the current balances after the CR updates. Just an FYI.

Yeah I have CK, but it still shows the old balances.

Im not sure what you mean by the old balances? Like the balances you had before the cards where paid? If thats the case just give it time to update. It probably wont be till your FEB statement cuts and they report in march.
give it sometime

Yeah, by old balances, I am referring to the higher balances before I paid $2000 off. So my overall credit card debt should be 25% lower now. I guess I will have to wait for the statements to cut.
